Horticulture Courses 

On the Horticulture course Learners are involved in a range of activities in everything from growing vegetables, preparing and marking out games pitches to the maintenance of the grounds, replacement bedding and nursery stock.

The College has many facilities and is involved in a number of Local Charities and assists in the upkeep of the grounds of Local Hospitals and Schools.  Students will work towards national qualifications at Award, Certificate or Diploma Level.

Modules may include :

• Maintaining safe and effective working practices
• Transport supplies of physical resources within the work area
• Planting and establishing plants
• Maintaining plants and controlling unwanted plants
• Decking, Flagging, Block paving
